Keys4Cars do not write a generic immobiliser delete file to your ECU, these can cause more fault then before and have the incorrect injector settings etc instead we read the original file with specialized equipment and have the proper software to convert your existing data to a non immobiliser data retaining all of your other computers important information to prevent future faults down the track, generic files can have different set ups/programming causing further issues.
Important Steps:
- Remove & courier the ECU to us - Located under floor cover/panel passengers side front footwell
- Before plugging in newly modified ECU you must disconnect the ignition antenna otherwise the immobiliser system will turn back on on the same fault will still be there!
- Tape over the antenna plug and and note "Do Not Plug In" incase someone own the track finds and plugs back in
- All fault codes in the ECU will be cleared and bench tested before sending back. Very few vehicles have require you leave vehicle running for 20 minutes for the ECU to reconfigure settings or if you have diagnostic programmers clear the fault codes and your off again straight away.
